The rate of compression will increase as the unit counter increases. Compressed units will have multiplied health, bounty, weight, damage, and life cost. The feature kicks in once the unit counter exceeds 100. New Feature - Unit compression - The game will merge newly spawning units in order to reduce the performance hit caused by too many units.
WRATH LEVEL DUNGEON WARFARE 2 FULL
Worth full price, just sad the devs couldn't continue to work out the flaws leaving it a very good game rather than the master piece it could have been. It's still lot's of fun hours until you reach the point where this becomes an annoying issue. In case anyone is reading this with the same question in mind as OP I want to recommend this game anyway. The placement puzzles and management of resources typical TD games challenge the player with are clearly second to just doing one more endless wave with maxed out runes on a previous map in order to render the next one trivial.Ĭuriously, I've since picked up other TD games with RPG like scaling mechanics (namely Defender's Quest) and they somehow do a much better job at preserving these challenges. There is no dynamic between these two that would resemble a "difficulty". It doesn't work that way.ĭW2 boils down to who scaled their stats / level harder: The player or the creeps?Įvery time the maps gain levels and become more difficult the player can compensate by simply gaining a few levels themselves and vice versa. The incentive for doing this is more rewards. The game has runes and a myriad of maps and other ways to intentionally make the game harder.
